I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, native New Yorker, runner, and mom. I’ve been a food lover for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until college that I became fascinated by the science of nutrition and the real impact our diets can have on our health. This intrigue led me to pursue a career in dietetics, and fast forward to today - I’m counseling busy New Yorkers at Well by Messer, the premier multispecialty medical practice delivering comprehensive concierge-level care.
I counsel patients on everything from how to fuel properly on GLP-1 medication to how to eat to manage chronic conditions like Type II diabetes and hyperlipidemia. I also have a particular interest in working with pregnant and newly postpartum woman, having recently had my first child myself. Patients describe my approach as supportive and nonjudgmental, and my recommendations are always evidence-based.
When it comes to making dietary changes, I believe in setting realistic goals that fit within the patient’s lifestyle. I don’t believe in restrictive diets or the complete elimination of any foods unless it’s medically necessary. When a patient develops and maintains habits that are truly sustainable for them—that is, for me, the ultimate marker of success.
