Registered Dietitian specializing in Pediatric and Prenatal Nutrition
I’m Kristen Criscitelli, MS, RD, a Registered Dietitian specializing in pediatric, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition. For nearly 16 years, I’ve worked with families to help make nutrition feel less overwhelming and more practical. I started my practice after seeing how many parents and expecting mothers were left trying to navigate nutrition on their own, often receiving limited guidance from healthcare providers and conflicting advice from social media.
Today, I work with families through every stage of the journey—from pregnancy and postpartum recovery to infant feeding, introducing solids, picky eating, food allergies, ADHD-related feeding challenges, and selective eating. Many of my clients first come to me during pregnancy and continue working with me as their children grow. My goal is always the same: to reduce stress around food, create sustainable routines, and help families build healthy relationships with eating that last a lifetime.
My approach is rooted in balance, structure, and realistic strategies that fit into everyday life. I help pregnant women navigate changing nutritional needs, support new mothers through the demands of postpartum recovery and breastfeeding, and guide parents in raising confident, adventurous eaters. When working with children who struggle with picky eating or sensory sensitivities, I focus on creating positive food experiences, involving kids in the process, and removing pressure from mealtimes.
I primarily work with expecting parents, postpartum mothers, families with young children, and parents seeking support for feeding challenges, food allergies, or nutrition-related concerns. I believe that nutrition should support your life—not add more stress to it—and I’m passionate about helping families feel confident, nourished, and empowered at every stage.

Food Allergy Prevention: From Pregnancy Through Early Childhood
Food allergy prevention starts long before a child takes their first bite. In this article, Kristen Criscitelli, MS, RDN, explains what the latest research says about reducing allergy risk during pregnancy, breastfeeding, infancy, and early childhood, including the role of early allergen introduction, gut health, and overall dietary diversity.
Rather than avoiding foods during pregnancy or breastfeeding, Kristen emphasizes a balanced, varied diet and highlights evidence-based strategies that can help support a healthy immune system and gut microbiome as children grow.
“My main goal is less stress, more structure, and a relationship with food that actually serves the whole family. Square Fare is incredibly helpful in making that possible by taking the planning, shopping, and cooking burden off parents’ plates.”
