Many people think that going to the gym alone will help them achieve weight loss. While you’ll get more toned, to lose weight, you must be in a calorie-deficit - meaning the calories of your daily food intake are lower than the calories you burn every day. There are usually 2 temptations: drastically cutting down on calories and not being careful about the nutrient density of the foods you eat. Both are counterproductive and usually lead to weight gain instead.

Our chefs make meals individually tailored to your specific needs for the price of takeout. Meals get delivered to your home. Pop them in the microwave for 2 mins and throw out the containers in the compost bin when you’re done.

What should I eat?

In theory, you can eat anything so long you are in calorie deficit. However, this is not a great approach. You could eat Oreo cookies all day and if you had sufficiently few, you’d lose weight! But you would feel terrible. In order to feel strong and healthy, you need to provide your body all the nutrient that it needs. Much like how your car wouldn’t go far on water.

Look for food that is nutrient dense, clean - meaning no added sugar, little salt, small amounts of high quality oils - and diverse. Your body is a complex machine that houses thousands of chemical reactions. It needs a wide range of nutrients to work properly.
